Indirect irradiation

By using UVGI fixtures that guide the radiation by a limited extent by means of baffles or reflectors and targeting them to ceilings, walls or floors, only greatly reduced radiation comes in the part of the space where the risk may be harmful. This makes it possible to comply with international biorisk and occupational hazard norms and at the same time achieve high efficient UV-C values.

Examples of applications are:

  • Reducing the bacterial count in the air and on surfaces in production-, refrigeration- and storage areas to prevent cross infection or contamination of products.
  • Prevention of Tuberculosis in health facilities and congregate settings such as centers for the homeless.
